New for Christmas 2007, this is the tenth design in an annual series of Christmas ornaments from Historic Stitches. Christmas Quaker was inspired by the fascinating variations of Quaker motifs, and includes motifs taken from antique Quaker samplers in the Historic Stitches collection. Chart pack includes charts for the ornament front and back designs (click here to see photo of the design for the ornament back) plus finishing instructions. The model was stitched on 32 count lambswool linen from Wichelt Imports using Crescent Colours Hand-dyed Threads. Approximate finished size is 4.25 inches wide by 7 inches tall, including tassel.
Original design by Historic Stitches which was part of a now sold out limited edition collaboration from Historic Stitches and Liberty Hill. The cloth can be used as a base for displaying a variety of holiday decorations. The design repeats on all four sides of the cloth. Linen used for the cloth is 28 count Woodsmoke from Lakeside Linens; design is coded for DMC and Anchor cotton floss. Instructions for stitching and finishing the cloth are included in the chart pack. Approximate size of the finished holiday cloth, including fringe, is 15.5 inches by 15.5 inches. Ninth in an annual series of Christmas ornaments from Historic Stitches. Christmas Abecedaire was inspired by Quaker alphabets and the many variations of Quaker geometric medallions. Chart pack includes charts for the ornament front and back designs, alphabet and numerals for personalization, plus finishing instructions. The model was stitched on 32 count lambswool linen from Wichelt Imports using Gentle Art Sampler Threads. Approximate finished size is 5 inches wide by 7.5 inches tall, including tassel.
